probably the most prolific and popular of Ladybird artists who illustrated nearly 100 books for Ladybird between 1963 and 1990.

Website dedicated to Frank Hampson,
Creator of the comic character 'Dan Dare', Frank went on to work for Ladybird for a number of years and illustrated some of the best remembered Ladybird Books including the Nursery Rhymes, Kings and Queens and the 'Through the Ages' series.
