DJ Good, not price-clipped, rubbed with minor loss head and tail of spine. Book VG+, grey boards with green vignette, pictorial endpapers, open-winged logo, lovely and clean inside with just occasional creased corner, 12th edition 1957.
|Beside the Sea, 1952 An old edition (possibly a first as a book plate states 1953) but can't be verified as the first free endpaper has been carefully removed. Pictorial boards (same pic.as on the DJ which is missing). The pages are bright and clean for age. £11.00|
|In the Country with Uncle Mac, 1954,series 455 |

|In the Country with Uncle Mac, series 455 Book Good, Dustwrapper Poor. 5th edition, 1959. Buff boards with green picture
on cover. Blue open-winged endpapers have sellotape residue marks (but no tape) and a school stamp. There's a line drawb right across title
page too, indicating withdrawn from library. But the book is basically in good shape, with secure, otherwise unmarked pages. The dustwrapper is rather
sad. It was once coated in clear plastic. Someone has tried to remove this but only succeeded in tearing the paper and gave up. But it's complete and
unclipped and, as the spine panel is unscathed, improves the appearance of the book on a shelf.
