A Second Book of British Birds and their Nests (DJ)

The second of the original ‘British Birds and their Nests’ books of series 536.  It is written by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald and illustrated by Allen Seaby.  Seaby was an accomplished artist with a long career as artist and lecturer by the time he illustrated this book. and he died before it was published.  Only the early editions were originally issued with a dustwrapper.

A very good copy with its original, unprice-clipped dustwrapper.   There’s a fairly inconspicous brown spot on the front panel (see photo) and also on the back panel.  Inside the pages are in good, clean condition.
