A Second Book of British Birds and their Nests (DJ)

The second of the original ‘British Birds and their Nests’ books of series 536.  It is written by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald and illustrated by Allen Seaby.  Seaby was an accomplished artist with a long career as artist and lecturer by the time he illustrated this book. and he died before it was published.  Only the early editions were originally issued with a dustwrapper.

This copy still has its original dustwrapper which has not been price-clipped. The DJ is in very good condition – just light edge wear.  Inside the book has blue endpapers and nice, clean pages.
