Aircraft, 1968, Series 584.  This book was originally issued with a dustwrapper.  There were several different editions of this book published as technology changed and Ladybird tried to keep pace.  The Ladybird book of Aircraft is a ‘spotting’ book – filled with pictures of different aircraft and the information to identify them.  Photograph-like artwork by B Knight.

This copy, the last of the revised versions, is in very good condition inside and out.  There’s only light wear to the boards and the pages are nice and clean, although there is a book plate on the front endpapers (see photo).  This copy dates to the early-1970s and has an original price of 18p on the back
