This is the 2nd book in the Natural History series, 651. Animals and How they Live was written by Newing and Bowood and illustrated by Ronald Lampitt.   This book is an attractive balance between picture book and Natural History information guide.  The scope of the book is, of course, very wide so the book offers the broadest overview of animal adaptations, features and behaviour.

This matt copy dates to the mid-1970s.  It’s in very good condition inside and out. Not much wear and nice, clean pages.  It dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
