British Birds and their Nests (DJ)

The first of the original ‘British Birds and their Nests’ books of series 536.  It is written by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald and illustrated by Allen Seaby.  Seaby only illustrated one more book for Ladybird – the sequel to this.  He died before either was published.

The book and DJ (not price-clipped) are in generally good, condition – a  little edge wear and fraying to dj edges and some shelfwear/soiling to the back panel.  Blue open-wing endpapers.  A name and date to the endpapers and a couple of ticks on the back flap.  Nice clean pages.
