Michael Faraday – Lives of the Great Scientists

Michael Faraday was the third and last of the three ‘Great Scientists’ series, series 708.  It was written by Lawrence du Garde Peach and illustrated by Roger Hall.  This is one of the last books that Peach wrote for Ladybird; he died not long after its publication.

Matt boards.  This book is in excellent condition inside and out except for some small flakes of colour missing from the spine.  Without that I would describe it as a nearly new copy of a rare book.  With a tally number of 330. I believe this to be a first edition.
