The Farmer 1963 was the 5th book to be issued in series 606b and was originally issued with a dustwrapper. It was written by I & J Havenhand and, like all the books in this series, was beautifully, lovingly illustrated by John Berry. This is a beautiful book with lots of lovely illustrations that show Britain at the early stages of the mechanisation of the farming industry.
This copy still has its original dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is not price-clipped and is in good condition. Some wear and chips to edges, a few foxing spots, small pencil mark on front dj flap. Inside the book is also in good condition – a name and some foxing spots to free endpaper. I believe it to be a first edition.
