The Farmer, Series 606b (with DJ)

The Farmer 1963 was the 5th book to be issued in series 606b and was originally issued with a dustwrapper.  It was written by I & J Havenhand and, like all the books in this series, was beautifully, lovingly illustrated by John Berry.  This is a beautiful book with lots of lovely illustrations that show Britain at the early stages of the mechanisation of the farming industry.

This copy still has its original dustwrapper.  The dustwrapper is not price-clipped and is in very good condition.  Some heavy edge wear to the spine panel (see photo).  Inside the pages are in very good condition.  I believe it to be a first edition.
