The Story of Joseph, Series 522 (DJ)

The Story of Joseph was the 4th book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by Lucy Diamon, illustrated by Kenneth Inns and was originally issued with a dust jacket.   It’s a pity that Inns didn’t illustrate many books for Ladybird; he had a lovely touch and sense of colour.

This copy still has it’s original dustwrapper, not price-clipped, in very good condition. Inside, the pages are also in VG condition, with clean, unmarked pages.  There’s a name and date to the front free endpaper.  I think it’s in pencil and is dated 1964.
