Jack and the Beanstalk, 1970, 606d (facsimile ed)

£6.00

Jack and the Beanstalk, first published 1965.  illustrated by Eric Winter and written by Vera Southgate.  This was the 4th title in the popular original Well-Loved Tales series, 606d.

Winter works his usual magic to create a wonderous beanstalk and a scary ogre – although I can’t say I ever warmed to Jack in this tale.  He seemed a bit of a brat.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a facsimile edition, from the 21st century.  It looks like an old copy – but that’s because it’s intended to.

This copy:

Facsimile edition in brand new condtion – it’s still wrapped in its original retail celophane.

It would suit someone who wants an immaculate condition copy, perhaps to give as a gift, rather than a purish book collector.
