If a book comes to me in poor condition, I always try to patch it up, making any repairs I can so that it can still be used and enjoyed.
But if all that can be salvaged from a damaged book is the pages, then I try to give them another lease of life.
These mounted prints have been rescued from otherwise irredeemable books (and sometimes work cards). They have been beautifully mounted on good quality card and are each sold wrapped in cellophane.
They would make a lovely gift instead of a birthday card or can be framed and enjoyed.
For every print sold I will make a donation to a charity (Arts or Child-related organisation) or to whatever local museum is currently hosting my exhibition.
BUT please note – I have a minimum postage charge on my website of £2.90 UK second class postage. So I suggest you pick up several at the same time – or add a book into your shopping basket. This postage charge is the same up to 2kgs in weight – so the same charge will be applied to send just one print or 18 books!
