The Story of Cricket, 1964, Series 561 (matt)

The Story of Cricket was one of only two books published in series 606c (The Story of Football was the other).  The book was written by Vera Southgate and was illustrated by Jack Matthew.

Only the first edition was ever published with a dustwrapper.

This copy has matt boards and is in very good condition but for some ticks on the front endpapers (see photo) and slight tilt to spine.  There is otherwise little wear to the boards and inside the pages are nice and clean.  It dates to the 1970s and has the original price of 24p on the back.
