This is the 7th book in the Natural History series, 651 and is one of the hardest to find.  The Story of the Ant was written by John Paull and was illustrated by Ian Fry.  At this period Ladybird was moving away from its traditional book format and approach to illustrations – but, there are some pretty dramatic illustrations which hark back to the golden years.

This matt copy is in very good condition inside and out.  Light edge wear, clean pages.  It has an original price of 60p stamped on the back
