The Story of Plastics, 1972, Series 601

The Story of Plastics was first published in 1972 and was the 19th title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was written by A A Harness and illustrated by B H Robinson. This book, so full of the spirit of the age in its enthusiasm for the potential of this wonder-material, is one of the hardest to find books of this era, so perhaps not a best-seller.

Matt boards.  This book has (ironically) been neatly covered in clear plastic to protect it but otherwise it is in very good condition inside and out.  This copy dates to the 1970s and has the original price of 24p on the back.  A hard-to-find title.
