Battles, advances in warfare and the rousing scenes of Agincourt. You can see why this was a popular ‘adventure from history’ in the post-war Britain of Biggles and Eagle.
The earliest versions of this book have a dustwrapper. Later editions have a full-colour, full-page cover illustration. Editions from the mid-1970s onwards have the cover picture on a white background within a blue frame

This matt copy has the 1970s blue-frame type of cover, although inside it is the original version of the book. It is in good condition externally – a little grubby and worn at the spine – and very good clean pages. It dates to the late 1970s.
