This is the 23rd book in the Nature series, 536.  Pond and River Birds was both written and beautifully illustrated by John Leigh-Pemberton.  It’s one of the harder-to-find titles in the series.

This matt copy is in very good condition inside and out with only light wear and very nice, clean pages.  It dates from the 1970s and has an original price of 18p printed on the back.
