Sleeping Beauty, 1965 but later 606d facsimile ed

£6.00

Sleeping Beauty, first published 1965.  illustrated by Eric Winter and written by Vera Southgate.  This was the 3rd title in the popular original Well-Loved Tales series, 606d.

Winter works his usual magic to create a beautiful tale – the princess’s butter-yellow dress with the long, droopy sleeves made a deep impression on me – as did the vicious thorns on the magic forest which tore the tights of the knights who failed the mission.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a facsimile edition, from the 21st century.  It looks like an old copy – but that’s because it’s intended to.

This copy:

Facsimile edition in brand new condition – it’s still wrapped in its original retail cellophane.

It would suit someone who wants an immaculate condition copy, perhaps to give as a gift, rather than a purist book collector.
