A Ladybird book of Dogs, 1968

A Ladybird book of Horses, 1968,  Series 682.

This book is written by Nancy Scott and illustrated by B H Robinson.  There were only two books published in this series, for some reason.  The other book in the series is ‘Horses’.  I always wanted a dog when I ws little.  This – and Peter and Jane’s dog ‘Pat’ was as close as I ever got.

This matt copy is in fair to good condition only – a scuff (or perhaps chew mark!) to the top edge (see photos) a mark to the cover picture and a neat inscription to front endpapers.  *Beyond these faults, wear is very light but there is a sprinkling of small brown marks to a few of the text pages*.  It dates to the 1970s or early 80s but doesn’t have an original price on the back.  A good reading copy, but not one for the collector.
