A Second Picture Dictionary,1966

The Peter and Jane Key Words reading scheme was so successful that very soon a number of support materials were also published.  The two ‘Picture Dictionary’ books were part of these.  This one was written by JimMcNally and illustrated by Eric Winter.  This book brings back memories of early school days and the struggle to learn to write neatly and spell correctly (two things I still struggle with!).  The many little Eric Winter illustrative vignettes helped give something for imagination and creativity to latch on to.

This matt copy is  in very good condition inside and out (some very small pen marks to back endpapers).   The book has the original price of 15p on the back so it dates to the 1970s
