British Railway Locomotives, 1958, Series 584.  Although inside this book is dated 1958, this version actually dates to about 1964 and is the last version.  There were several different editions of this book published as technology changed and Ladybird tried to keep pace.  Railway locomotives is a ‘spotting’ book – filled with pictures of different locomotives and the information to identify them.  Unusually for books of this era, it is illustrated with adapted photographs.

This copy has matt boards and is in Good+ condition.  Top of spine there’s heavy rubbing and a little damage but otherwise the covers are bright and the pages are clean (a little discoloured at tips).

This copy dates from the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
