How it Works The Motor Car

£3.50

How it Works The Motor Car, 1965 was the first title in the How-it-Works series, 654.  It was written (and apparently also illustrated) by the mysterious David Carey.  Carey is almost certainly a pen-name and the illustrator was likely to be one of the people who had illustrated the car manuals printed by Wills & Hepworth before children’s book publishing became the company focus.
