How it Works The Motor Cycle, 1968 was the 6th title in the How-it-Works series, 654. It was written by the mysterious David Carey and illustrated with typical precision by B H Robinson.
This is the hardest-to-find of all the books in this series.
This copy:
Matt boards. This copy is in ‘good’ condition – a bit better perhaps than the photos suggest. There’s colour flaking to the spine, the beginnings of a crack to one edge and some foxing spots on the cover. Inside the pages are very good – clean and still quite tight. This copy dates to the 1960s, has the original price of 2/6 printed inside and, with a tally number of 225, I believe it to be a first edition. This is a hard-to-find title.
