In a Hotel, Series 606b

In a Hotel, 1972 was the 17th book to be issued in series 606b.  It was written by I and J Havenhand and, like all the books in this series, was beautifully, lovingly illustrated by John Berry.   This book contains some lovely, evocative images of a rather different world – where the austerity of the post-war years is still in evidence.  There are also definite overtones of Fawlty Towers too – although the Ladybird book covers hotels large and small. Today, this is relatively hard-to-find title.

This matt copy is in  very good condition but for some white speckles on the front cover (see photos). Otherwise there is average edge wear to the spine, a little discoloration to the spine but nice, clean pages. This copy dates to the 1970s and has the original price of 18p on the back.
