Jesus Calls His Disciples, Series 522 (matt)

Jesus Calls His Disciples was the 9th book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by Lucy Diamon, illustrated by Kenneth Inns and was originally issued with a dust jacket.   It’s a pity that Inns didn’t illustrate many books for Ladybird; he had a lovely touch and sense of colour.

This matt copy is in very good condition inside and out.  Only a light scuff top of cover and, a neat inscription to the front endpapers, nice, clean pages. This copy dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
