This is the 5th book in the Natural History series, 651. Life of the Honey-bee was written by W Sinclair and was one of only three Ladybird books to be illustrated by Jill Payne.    This book is an attractive balance between picture-book and textbook.

This copy has matt boards and is in very good condition – only light wear to the boards, slight crease in the front cover, probably a minor printing error –  and clean, tight pages.  Like the honey bee itself, this book is getting harder to find in good condition.  This copy dates from the 1970s and has the original price of 15p on the back.
