Nature takes Shape, 1980

£6.00

Nature takes Shape, 1980, Series 651.

This is the last book in the Natural History series, 651 and is one of the hardest to find. Nature takes Shape was written and illustrated by John and Dorothy Paull.  At this period Ladybird was moving away from its traditional book format; increasingly favouring photographs.  In this book, where there are illustrations, they are more like diagrams.

The topic of this book is an unusual but interesting one: it looks at the shapes to be found in the natural world and their relationship to each other and to the laws of Mathematics.

This matt copy is in very good condition inside and out.  Neat name to endpapers, bumps to corners; clean, tight pages.  It has an original price of 40p stamped on the back
