Parable of the Lost Sheep, Series 606a

The 4 ‘parable books were introduced into series 606a in the late 1970s, at a time when the company’s new owners were feeling experimental.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an earlier Ladybird series: 522.)

It was written by Sylvia Mandeville and illustrated by David Palmer in a more stylised, bolder mode of illustration typical of new Ladybird productions of this period.

This matt copy is in VG condition inside and out.  Not much wear and nice, clean pages.  It dates to the late 1970s or early 1980s but doesn’t have an original price on the back.
