The Story of Peter the Fisherman, Series 522

Peter the Fisherman was the last book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)  Being the last, it’s a little harder to find than other books in the series.

It was written by D S Hare, illustrated by Eric Winter and was never issued with a dust jacket.   Eric Winter is more commonly associated with his fairy tale illustrations for Ladybird – including Cinderella, Princess and the Pea and Rumpelstiltskin.

This matt copy is in really very good condition inside and out. Some rubbing to spine, otherwise very little wear and nice clean, tight pages.  It dates to the 1970s and has the original price of 15p on the back.
