The Story of The Motor Car, 1962 (matt)

The Story of The Motor Car, 1962 was the 5th title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was illustrated by the brilliant visual-storyteller Robert Ayton and was written by David Carey.  The colours in this book just sparkle and every picture is brimming with life and humour.  I remember using it to write a school project and then in art trying to do my own version of the picture on the front.

Matt boards.  In good condition inside and out –  not much wear generally but heavier wear to the spine and a small dent in the cover.  Nice, clean pages – a small stamp to the front endpapers.  This copy dates to the 1960s – the original price of 2/6 is printed in the front.
