Things to Make and Do, 1963, Series 633.
This is the first book in the Hobbies series, 633 and the only one ever to be originally issued with a dustwrapper. It was written by Mia Richey and was beautifully illustrated by the mysterious G Robinson.
I have many many memories of this book – I think I made, or tried to make, or thought about making, just about everything in it. It taught me a big and important life lesson – things you see in books often don’t turn out the same way in real life. Maybe your Shoe house or eggshell-mobile had the charm of the ones in the pictures. Mine never did. But I still love this book.

This copy still has its original dustwrapper which is in Good/VG condition (a bit better than it looks in the pictures. The DJ is not price clipped and, although it’s a bit worn and rumpled, it isn’t creased, as you might think from the pictures. Inside, the book is in VG condition.
