Part set of ‘Read it Yourself’ books (16-book bundle)

Sixteen books from the 1970s/80s Read it Yourself books – which were designed to supplement the Key Words reading scheme books (Peter and Jane) books.   They were designed to be “an enjoyable and uncomplicated scheme that will give your child reading confidence”.

These books were designed as extra practice – for a child who wanted to keep reading at their appropriate level as they worked their way through the reading scheme – but based on classic stories and tales.

Books in the first level were not really ‘readers’ – they were designed to be read to a child.  So in effect this series starts from the second level.

In this bundle there are five books from the second level, three books from the third level, 3 books from the fourth level and five books from the 5th (top level).  The 16 books come in at less than £1.00 each.

They are in pretty good, serviceable condition with the odd minor fault (soft spine, name to endpapers, creased pages) but nothing major.
