British Railway Locomotives, 1958, Series 584.  This book was originally issued with a dustwrapper.  There were several different editions of this book published as technology changed and Ladybird tried to keep pace.  Railway locomotives is a ‘spotting’ book – filled with pictures of different locomotives and the information to identify them.  Unusually for books of this era, it is illustrated with adapted photographs.

This copy still has it’s original dustwrapper, not price-clipped) which is in good condition but with a repaired closed tear to base of spine panel and rubbing to the top.  Inside, the book is in very good condition – the occasional small spot or blemish.

This copy has 50 pages – so is not the earliest version.  It will date from the early 1960s.
