Naaman and the Little Maid, Series 522 (DJ)

Naaman and the Little Maid was the 10th book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by Lucy Diamon, illustrated by Kenneth Inns and was originally issued with a dust jacket.   It’s a pity that Inns didn’t illustrate many books for Ladybird; he had a lovely touch and sense of colour.

This copy:

A very good, fairly early copy of the book in a very good DJ.  The DJ isn’t price clipped and has very little wear but the spine panel is very sun-faded.  Otherwise it’s in very good condition throughout, with very clean pages and blue, open-wing endpapers.
