One of the earlier titles in the 561 series, colourfully written by L du Garde Peach and illustrated by John Kenney. The earliest editions of this book have a dustwrapper over plain boards.

This copy is in superb condition inside and out.  Only a little wear head and foot of spine and some slight fading, otherwise in nearly-new condition.   So rare to find a book of this vintage in this sort of condition.  It dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
