A Third Book of British Birds and Their Nests, 1956.  Series 536.

This is the third book in the Nature series, 536 and the first book to be illustrated by Roland Green.   Allen Seaby died very shortly after completing the first two bird books and Green, in addition to this book, also illustrated ‘Wild Animals’.

This copy is unusual in that it has matt boards and (because it was in print for less time in the ‘matt’ era) is actually harder to find this way than with a dustwrapper.  The book is in very good condition inside and out with light wear and a few light marks.  It dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
