A Third Book of British Birds and Their Nests, 1956.  Series 536.

This is the third book in the Nature series, 536 and the first book to be illustrated by Roland Green.   Allen Seaby died very shortly after completing the first two bird books and Green, in addition to this book, also illustrated ‘Wild Animals’.

This copy still has its original dustwrapper, which is not price-clipped.  I’ve described it as ‘scruffy’ but the book itself, with blue open-wing endpapers and clean pages – is in VG condition.   It’s the DJ which, as the pictures shown, is creased, a bit grubby and with tears, frays and patches of loss especially head of spine panel.  A VG book in a Fair dustwrapper.
