Clothes and Costume, 1964, Series 601 (DJ)

The Story of our Clothes and Costume was first published in 1964 and was the 7th title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was illustrated by the brilliant visual-storyteller Robert Ayton and was written by Richard Bowood and was one of the last books in this series ever to have originally been published with a dustwrapper.

This copy still has its original dustwrapper which has not been price-clipped.  The DJ is in good condition – worn with closed tears especially head and foot of spine and with creasing and some foxing spots and minor blemishes to front and back panels.  Inside, the book itself is in very good condition with a small dot to the front endpapers but generally nice, clean pages.
