Great Civilisations Greece, 1976, Series 561 (1st edition)

Great Civilisations Greece was was written by Clarence Greig and illustrated by Jorge Nunez.  This book was  originally issued with a more traditional cover style but is more commonly found with a white/blue cover with the cover picture contained within a frame.

There were 6 different titles in the Great Civilisations books, and I’m sure most of them were the basis of many a school project in the 70s and 80s.

This is the original, more hard-to-find version with the full colour cover and matt boards.  This copy is in excellent condition inside and out.  It has a tally number of 350 so I believe it to be a first edition.
