How it Works The Rocket, 1967

The Rocket, 1967 was the 8th title in the How-it-Works series, 654.  It was written by the mysterious David Carey and illustrated with typical precision by B H Robinson.  Originally published before the moon landing, the book was swiftly revised to reflect the moon as a reality rather than as an imagined concept.

Matt boards in  good condition inside and out. There are some scuffs, some heavy rubbing and small stains to the cover (see photos).  Inside, the pages are in good shape except for a couple of grubby thumb marks.  This is an early copy – printed shortly BEFORE the moon landing.  It has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
