How it Works The Rocket, 1967

The Rocket, 1967 was the 8th title in the How-it-Works series, 654.  It was written by the mysterious David Carey and illustrated with typical precision by B H Robinson.  Originally published before the moon landing, the book was swiftly revised to reflect the moon as a reality rather than as an imagined concept.

Matt boards in very good condition inside and good condition externally.  Wear to boards, light rubbing and the odd scratch and mark – but inside good, clean pages.  Post-moon-landing in date, it has been revised to mention the great event of July 1969.   It has the original price of 2/6 revised up to 12.5p on the back.
