Merchant ships, 1973, Series 584.  This was the last book in the series to be issued with matt boards.  The Ladybird book of Merchant Ships is a ‘spotting’ book – filled with pictures of different craft and the information to identify them.  It is illustrated with drawings, rather than photographs, by J Smith

This copy  is in Very Good condition inside and out. There’s some wear to the spine edges and a small, neat name to the front pastedown – but the content pages are very clean and tight.  With a tally number of 340, I believe this to be a first edition.  It’s quite a hard-to-find title.
