Peter and Jane 3b Boys and Girls 1960s

There were 36 book in total in the Key Words reading scheme – the Peter and Jane books.  Each of 12 levels was divided into three: a, b and c.  The ‘a’ books introduced new vocabularly which was reinforced in the ‘b’ books while the ‘c’ books tended to focus on writing, spelling and phonics.  Book 3b Boys and Girls was first published in 1964.  It was written by William Murray and illustrated by Robert Ayton.

This matt copy is the original 1960s version in very good condition, inside and out.  Only light wear to the edges and nice, clean pages.  It dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
