Sir Walter Raleigh, 1957, Series 561 (DJ)

One of the earlier titles in the 561 series, colourfully written by L du Garde Peach and illustrated by John Kenney. The earliest editions of this book have a dustwrapper over plain boards.

This copy still has its original, unclipped, dustwrapper and is in VG condition inside and out.  There is a neat name on the blue open-wing endpapers and a couple of minor blemishes but generally a very nice, clean copy of a beautiful books.
