Flight Two – Canada (DJ)

£4.00

Flight Two – Canada was the 2nd of the Travel Adventure series, 587, written by David Scott Daniell and boldly illustrated by Jack Matthew.  The series featured two children, Alison and John accompanying Daddy on exciting trips around the world.  Alison and John are very eager beavers, always keen to research their destination, study maps and learn more about social and geo-political history.  So this makes them fascinating reading today – capturing as it does the lingering assumptions of empire, of Commonwealth and of a burgeoning new world order that still places Britain at its centre.  The early versions of the book are to be found with dustwrapper.
