The Ladybird Book of British Wild Animals.  Series 536.

This book is written by George Cansdale and illustrated by Roland Green.  This is the last of the two books that Green illustrated for Ladybird (the first being ‘Third Book of British Birds and their Nests’).

This copy still has its original dustwrapper, which has not been price clipped.  It has some rubbing/minor loss head and foot of spine but is generally in good condition.  The main fault to the book itself is a name to the front free endpapers and one cancelled on the title page (see photos)  This copy has blue open-wing endpapers and generally pages in good condition.
