The Little Lord Jesus, Series 522 (scruffy)

The Little Lord Jesus was the 3rd book to be issued in series 522.  (Other bible stories are to be found in an later Ladybird series: 606a.)

It was written by Lucy Diamon, illustrated by Kenneth Inns and was originally issued with a dust jacket.   It’s a pity that Inns didn’t illustrate many books for Ladybird; he had a lovely touch and sense of colour.

This matt copy is in only fair to good condition (see photos). There’s a repair to the spine, edge wear and some scuffs to the back boards. Grubby marks and discoloration to the early pages.  It dates to the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
