The Miner, Series 606b

The Miner 1965 was the 8th book to be issued in series 606b.  It was written by I & J Havenhand and, like all the books in this series, was beautifully, lovingly illustrated by John Berry.   This book shows the very well-developed and extensive mining network in Britain, long before the move away from coal and the miners’ strike.

This matt copy is in very good condition.  Some quite heavy wear to the spine but otherwise a nice, clean copy.   It dates from the 1970s and has a price of 24p on the back
