The Story of Flight, 1960, Series 601 original version (matt)

The Story of Flight was first published in 1960 and was the first title in the long-running Achievements series, 601.  It was illustrated by the brilliant visual-storyteller Robert Ayton and was written by Richard Bowood.   This book was revised in the 1970s to update it.  It was first published with a dustwrapper.

This copy is the original version, with matt boards.  It’s in VG condition inside and out with only light wear and nice, clean pages. It dates from the 1960s and has the original price of 2/6 printed inside.
